Naples, Florida (August 23, 2009) --  Powerhouse Racing and Performance Aftermarket Division, Team FEAR, announces today the introduction of a newtechnology for the GT500 exhaust system called the TRU-SoundTM H-pipe.  The FEARTRU-SoundTM KR H-pipe combines the instantly recognizable sound of the 2008-09 GT500KR with a high quality, CNC manufactured design for perfect fit every time.

Historically, Mustang enthusiasts had the choice of various aftermarket H- and X-pipes to achieve a different sound from stock, but for the first time, the Shelby GT500 owner can transform the sound his 2007-10 GT500 into the deep, guttural snarl of the 2008-09 GT500KR.

PERFORMANCE

The Team FEARTRU-SoundTM  H-pipe is manufactured from high quality 304 stainless steel which sets it apart from the Shelby H-pipe, fabricated from 409 stainless steel, which over  time, will discolor and potentially develop unsightly surface oxidation.  Unlike the factory H-pipe installed on authentic GT500 KRs, theTeam FEAR TRU-SoundTM  H-pipe utilizes a CNC mandrel formed tuned cross pipe with more gradual diameter transitions to minimize undesired sounds while enhancing the deep bass modulation and snarl enthusiasts lust after.

CNC mandrel forming ensures a factory fit while the OE-quality exhaust couplers provide the same, durable connection to the factory mid-pipes and catalyst pipes to withstand the extreme conditions of drag racing at elevated power levels.
